This newly renovated chalet features an open concept floor plan with 1500 square feet of living space on two levels, with abundant windows to take in the spectacular views of the natural riverside surroundings.

The first floor has multiple areas to sit back and relax. To your left as you enter the front door is a wood-burning stove to keep you warm during cool mornings, and a popup sofabed with bedding underneath for extra guests. To your right is our lounging area where you can sit back on our comfortable leather love seat and watch your favourite streaming service on our 65" TV or use the internet via wifi which is provided throughout the chalet.
Spacious Kitchen and Dining Room
Moving further into the chalet, cooks will enjoy the fully-equipped kitchen with 4 stainless steel appliances, coffee nook, and island with butcher block counter top and seating for three. In the dining area off the kitchen, up to eight guests can sit and enjoy their meal while taking in the expansive views of the river. All table service and cutlery is provided.
Comfortable and characterful bedrooms with stunning waterside views
There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with comfortable Queen beds, distinctive decor including commissioned artwork, waterviews, and access to the second floor balcony and its amazing "million dollar" views. Each bedroom has ample storage, with a closet and dresser for storing your belongings. Downstairs, there is a pop-up full size sofa bed for two additional guests. For heating and cooling, each bedroom has a multiple speed ceiling fan and baseboard heating, but in each closet is also a standing fan, portable ceramic heater and extra blankets for the warmest and coolest days of the season.

Games areas
At Trout River Retreat, there are activities to entertain everyone. Inside, there is a games table for playing crokinole, cards, or one of the many family games you will find in the drawers of the dresser below the TV and elsewhere. Outdoor equipment can be found in the closet near the back door, and there are also pfds and paddles for canoeing, fishing rods, beach towels and more in the living room closet.
